I might give a try depending what's going on around that time. I have a couple of stories that I've wanted to have a go at doing. I'm sure it'll be horrendous though.

I absolutely love that idea.

Only thing ...

... doesn't it say you have to write the novel during November 2006?

I didn't read it properly but assumed it was a yearly thing. I guess you could just try snd do it on your own in a designated month.

To fund the magazine he was editing Michael Moorcock used to knock out fantasy novels over the course of a whisky fueled weekend. The bugger got them published too.

I'm definately going to try something similar one of these days. At the moment, though, I'm at the opposite end of the spectrum, painstakingly laying down intricate detail on my magnum opus. Possibly averaging 3 words per ice age.

Just putting some work in on it now before I go into court. It's going well. I've been talking to lots of people about it, people have been loaning me books. I think the fact that the scene involves a wide cross section of people and their fantasies takes the pressure off me. A small, intimate scene would have been more personal and difficult. But the chapter in general is becoming very big and dense and surreal. Can't imagine what people will think of me after they've read it. But I'm feeling very positive and motivated and I'm working hard.

You had a crack at a little wordplay yet?

Hee hee, the court comment tickled me. For anyone who doesn't know you are on jury duty, you may be coming across as a) a law-breaker and b) a sex obsessed pervert.... Very Happy
