There's a huge paved space round the back of Spencer's flat. We thought it would be ample for finally having a go at erecting my mega tent that I got from ebay and making sure all is in order in readiness for the Green Man Festival. Well it had the length, but not the girth ... still, we managed to establish that all the parts are present and get an idea of how the thing goes up.

This is a view of the west wing. My wide angle lense couldn't manage the east or north wings. To help with scale, Spencer is well over six foot tall.

So no need to worry that rain can stop our late night hokey cokey sessions Very Happy

Is the entire festival to be hosted in your tent?

It certainly looks very capacious. Mind you, size isn't everything...

Well, on the outside it looks roomy ... but if Joanna Newsom wants to come back she'll need space for her harp, so I will have to chuck everybody else out. Soz.

Awesome!

when you crawl out of that in the morning, you're going to be one big butterfly. (Well - if Jen's in there too you'll be two separate butterflies obviously)

Very Happy

That would be something, wouldn't it? Me and Jen and Spencer could emerge as one giant three-headed butterfly and then rampage around downtown Glanusk standing on buildings until they call Godzilla in.

Hey, somebody's got to do it.

Might be a couple of my mates coming along if they can get tickets - The Professor and his lady friend.

He's just got a new PHd in Dub Reggae Rolling Eyes

I'm now calling him Dr Dub. In fact I'll show you this (wandering wildly off topic) - I've just done him a little pressie - a tin of Dubbin with these labels on:-

not sure why the second ones not come out as well - it's sharp on the print

God knows! - doesn't it warm your heart though that through some devious filtering of the tax system somewhere, we have maybe all contributed just a little towards it. Laughing

Well, it beats cruise missiles and ID cards, I guess.

Personally, though, I'd like to see my tax contributions go into the promotion of a National Naked Day (I haven't seen a naked stranger for days, now ... it's not natural). And just think of the savings the country would make in terms of clothing wear and tear.

Looks good Ian. I have a question....Does it have its own floor or do I need a waterproof groundsheet?
