Hi there my beauties.

I’ve been trying to select a few pics to give an idea of what it’s like up North at Findhorn and Newbold. I’ve got so many pics to choose from and all of them combined don’t really come close to expressing the place as I see it, let alone this paltry selection here … but what are ya gonna do?

Newbold House is a grand old Victorian affair with a huge conservatory round the back …

… which is ideal for relaxing with visitors while sipping tea.

The house has a massive garden with over a hundred fruit bearing trees and surrounding the garden is a beautiful wood …

I had a lovely day trip with Christine to Aviemore where we walked and I picked up my friendly neck tic. These pics do not do it justice.

The lake …

The view from our picnic

A very small bit of the view from the top of the ridge …

Randolph’s Leap is the place of power where I had my mystical experience during Experience Week in May. The Findhorn River flows through, a rich dark brown the colour of real ale because of the peat (sp?) in it …

The woods around the river are stunning and the trees fairly pulse with power …

The beach down on Findhorn Bay has got pebbles like people … all different, all beautiful …

The skies above the bay are always doing something interesting, every single night …

And this is Ianto (pronounced “Yanto”) the Brave sandwiched between two magnificent international Power Girls, Claudia on the left and Christine on the right, my comrades from Experience Week. Claudia makes a mean pasta and Christine talks to tics lovingly as she tweezers them from your neck …

Maybe these pictures don't do it justice but they're a pretty good start.

I love your pebble-grid and if I believed in omens, I'd say finding that heart-shaped one was an omen.

Cheers, Col.

Hmm, yeah, I seem to see heart shapes everywhere I go these days. I reckon everything's an omen of something. Smile

There's just so much beauty everywhere.

We'll drive to the west coast and we'll find the biggest, highest hikes we dare take on. Our cameras will explode with joy!
